Bob Burrawal

Bob Burrawal (1952 – 2021) was a member of the Balngarra Clan (Rembannga language) and often collaborated with his wife Lena Yarinkura. They are both well known for adapting traditional Arnhem Land fibre techniques to create contemporary artworks. Many of Bob’s works are held in major collections including the National Gallery of Australia and the National Gallery of Victoria.
