#Before The End

NEW YORK CITY, USA

Huma Bhabha, a renowned Pakistani artist, is well known for her intricate and multi-layered creations that delve into the reinvention of the human form and its expressive capacities. Bhabha's sculptures merge aesthetic, cultural, and psychological elements to craft enigmatic and thought-provoking forms.

The exhibition, "Before The End," curated by the Public Art Fund, unveils four 8-foot tall sculptures by Bhabha: "Feel the Hammer," "Member," "Mr. Stone," and "Nothing Falls." Situated in staggered positions along the Pier 3 Uplands at Brooklyn Bridge Park, these sculptures evoke a sense of mystery and ambiguity against the backdrop of iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and One World Trade. The historical resonance of the park enriches the depth of the exhibition.

The exhibition is curated by Nicholas Baume, with support from Public Art Fund Assistant Curator Jenée-Daria Strand
