Julianne Wade, also known as the Whadjuk Artist, is an Indigenous artist from Perth, Australia. Her art is deeply rooted in her cultural connections and aims to foster change for Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. She provides a contemporary continuation of traditional culture and knowledge through her involvement with organizations like the West Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute. Julianne also engages with her community, particularly with children and families in schools, to share her knowledge and culture through art.

Julianne draws inspiration from her time in Country (boodja) and works primarily with acrylics on canvas and natural ochres. Through her art, she sparks conversations about Aboriginal people's current challenges and envisions a way forward.
