Architect Sculpture Workshop
Step into the foundry
UAP and Meridian Sculpture invite architects and designers to experience the joy of making through an immersive, hands-on workshop in lost-wax sculpture and bronze casting.

#Learn by making
Architecture often begins with drawings, models and ideas. This workshop brings you closer to the material itself.
Across six hours of hands-on making, participants will work directly in wax, exploring sculptural form while learning the processes that transform an idea into cast bronze.
Create a door handle, architectural detail, model, object or something entirely unexpected. What you make is up to you.
Along the way, you'll learn from craftspeople who work with artists, architects and designers every day to transform ambitious ideas into physical form.
- See behind the process.
Go inside the workshop and discover how wax becomes bronze—from sculpting and investment casting through finishing and patination.
- Bring making back into design.
Explore how sculptural thinking, materials and fabrication knowledge can inform architectural practice, placemaking and the integration of art into the built environment.
- Earn six Formal CPD Points.
The workshop includes six contact hours, supporting documentation, self-assessment and certification aligned with the National Standard of Competency for Architects 2021.
