Dying King by bruce macadam is an abstract sculpture that was created based of the thought “it’s ideal to know nothing”. Macadam hopes that the stranger this work seems, the less ideas will be attached to it, and the viewer can see past all the distractions to just simply see the object.

The title of the work refers to the long development of the sculpture which is an integral part of the artists practice. The original model for Dying King was sculpted over a period of four years. Our team in Rock Tavern cast the work in bronze and applied a patina finish.
