Shanghai Artyzen Lingang

UAP was engaged to curate, design, manufacture and install a series of artworks for the Artyzen Lingang and the Artyzen Habitat Lingang. Located on the waterfront of Dishui Lake, the landmark Artyzen development includes the two hotels, serviced apartments and an international conference center facility to promote the Lingang Special Area as a lifestyle business destination within the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone.

Working closely with the Lujiazui and the Artyzen operator, UAP curated the art programs around themes exploring a combination of contemporary and traditional Chinese crafts. This resulted in the commissioning of works by artists including Cynthia Sah, Yang Yongliang, Jan Albers, Andrea Pramuk, Wan Yang and Bi Rongrong, as well as the delivery of several design solutions for the public realm and private guestrooms.
