SHENZHEN, CHINA

Covering an area of 1.48 million square metres, the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center is the largest of its kind in the world. Incorporated throughout the Center are ten incredible site-specific artworks from seven renowned Chinese and international artists who were selected following a comprehensive public art strategy carried out by UAP’s Shanghai team. Featured within the Center are artworks by Nick Ervinck, Eva Hild, Huang Zhiyang, Carly Scoufos, Xu Sheng, Xie Aige and Yang Yongliang.

With extensive facilities including 20 exhibition spaces, 108 meeting rooms, 47 VIP rooms and multiple large-scale event spaces, the Center is a world-class exhibition destination for both local and international visitors. It is of great significance for enhancing Shenzhen’s functionality and image and building the core area of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

UAP’s Shanghai team assisted the artists throughout design development, and coordinated the tailored fabrication and installation methodology for each artwork.
